Zotero

Zotero (IPA /zoʊʲtɛroʊ/[cite:@zotero/quick_start_guide]) is a program for managing bibliographies and a library of corresponding documents and notes. Zotero assists in the collection, citation, sharing, organisation, annotation, and preservation of research.

Snapshots

Zotero can create local copies (snapshots) of web pages à la the Wayback Machine. Capturing a site using the Zotero browser extension will usually take a snapshot, but one can also manually create a snapshot by dragging and dropping URLs into Zotero.[cite:@zoteroforums2017adding] In Firefox, one drags the URL from the HTTPS lock button.[cite:@theden2012firefox]

Tagging

You can drag items onto tags in the tag selector to assign them. If you're in a collection or a search, you'll want to click "Display all tags" first so that the tags list isn't limited to tags already matching all the current items.
