ㄷ-irregularity

In Korean morphology, a ㄷ-irregular verb (ko: ㄷ 불규칙 동사) is a type of irregular verb whose stem ends in ㄷ.

Inflection

• Add the suffix as usual.

• If ㄷ is followed by a vowel, ㄷ changes to ㄹ.

• 듣다 ＋ -어서 ⟶ 들어서

• 듣다 ＋ -을 거예요 ⟶ 들을 거예요

• 듣다 ＋ -고 있다 ⟶ 듣고 있다

묻다

• 둗다 ＋ -어서 ⟶ 둘어서

믿다
