Archetype

Jung is most known for his theory of archetypes, the common motifs present all across mythology. Archetypes are not consciously implemented or coordinated by authors, but instead naturally arise as expressions of the human condition. The theory of archetypes concludes that myths are composed from a common set of symbols which each describe a little piece of the human experience.
