Logarithmic differentiation
In calculus, logarithmic differentiation is a method of differentiation to be used when the logarithm of a function is easier to differentiate than the function itself.[cite:@enwiki:1210451802]
Before differentiating, an equation can be simplified by applying a logarithm to both sides.
