Temple tale

A temple tale or temple story is a type of etiological narrative which explains how a specific temple came to exist.[cite:@sbccoe2007genesis]

Genesis

A more subtle example of a temple tale is the Book of Genesis — Genesis claims that the entire world, and especially the Garden of Eden, is a temple.
