Counter (Korean)
Korean has special words called countersIn linguistics generally, Korean counters are an example of measure words. In fact, in English phrases like "three loaves of bread" or "two glasses of water," "loaves" and "glasses" do function as measure words. [cite:@MeasureWord2024] which are used with numerals to express a noun in a given quantity. Counters are similar to some English words, like "loaves (of bread)."
