Korean language

Korean is the native language of Korea. It is called 한국어 (한국 "Korea" + -어 "language") in Korean, and sometimes 우리말 by Koreans.

In South Korea, the Korean language is governed by the National Institute of Korean Language (NIKL; ko: 국립국어원).
