“Please do me a favour” in Korean
While Korean does permit speakers to make polite requests/commands in the imperative mood, there is another construction that places emphasis on the fact that the action is being requested as a favour to the speaker and is thus considered even more polite. This construction is -어 주세요; the infinitive followed by 주세요.
