โ€œBefore doing โ€ฆโ€ in Korean

In Korean, a clause may be temporally positioned as following some state or event using the noun ์ „ ("before") with the location-marking particle -์— to form an adverbial phrase. The phrase in "[phrase] ์ „์—" ("before [phrase]") should be a noun.

The [v.st.]๊ธฐ form of nominalisation is often used with the ์ „์— pattern.
