Korean conjunctions

Korean has many conjunctions.Grammatical constructions that join separate clauses into one. many of which are adverbs derived from the verb 그렇다 ("to be thus") and 그러다 ("to do so"), but some are verb suffixes and particles.

Adverbs

so, therefore, thus, because of that

그런데

but, however (light contrast)

그렇지만

but, however (stronger contrast; more formal than 그런데)
